AIS has extensive experience in maintaining legacy targetry systems such as RX and Jackcast that are no longer supported by the OEM. We can provide control system upgrades to many of these systems using either radio or computer-based control.

Case studies

Merseyside Police

AIS upgraded two systems for the Merseyside Police. The original system came with an EPROM controller that did not allow the Police to alter the target sequence.

AIS modified the system to allow operation by computer or with a hand-held radio controller. An integral charging system was also added.

City of London Police

The City of London Police were using a computer-based control system to operate their PX180 target mechanisms. The existing land-line Handset Control was faulty.

AIS supplied a replacement control system, with a hand-held radio remote control unit and radio receiver.

TargetMaster

The TargetMaster control system is a Windows-based target control application written in Visual Basic. With its easy to operate user interface, an instructor can manually control the targets, or set up and run a pre-programmed target sequence.
